Stewards

An Independent, Non-Profit Organization

Ironton in Bloom is an independent, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting citywide beautification programs and personal and community involvement through the use of flowers, plants, trees, and other environmental and lifestyle enhancements.

Ironton in Bloom provides educational programs, resources, and the challenge of a friendly competition between participating communities across the country.

Governed and Staffed by Volunteers

Ironton in Bloom is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of 15 volunteers:

  • Co-Chair – Carol Allen and Randy Lilly
  • Secretary and Fund Raising Chair - Viviane Vallance
  • Treasurer - Cindy Caskey
  • Publicity and Marketing – Mike Caldwell and Judy Sanders
  • Downtown Businesses – Cindy Anderson
  • Businesses Away from Downtown – Phyllis Volgares
  • Entrances to City – Mike Corn
  • Residential – Judy Sanders
  • Floral Design and Landscaped Areas– Garry Castle
  • Tourism – Steve Call
  • Community Advisors – Ralph Kline and Bill Dingus
  • City of Ironton Representative – Rich Blankenship or Katrina Keith
  • Main Street Director – Not Appointed

Ironton in Bloom is driven by a spirit of voluntary contribution and co-operation. The entire community shares in the vision of “planting pride in our communities”.

Your sponsorship helps the Ironton in Bloom program to flourish and your participation will return important benefits to you and/ or your organization or business.

To sponsor a:

  • 36” New Large Planter - $350.00
  • To plant and maintain a large planter - $250.00
  • New Poleplanter - $200.00
  • To plant and maintain a poleplanter - $150.00
  • To plant and maintain a Hanging Basket - $75.00

Sponsorship includes the flowers, dirt, water retention products, gravel, fabric liners, coconut liners, maintenance (watering, fertilization, and insect prevention), and installation. The cost of the pots/poleplanter is included in the initial cost shown.
