The Point: Quality of Life

Life is good in the Tri-State area! The community, rich in tradition and cultural heritage, boasts some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. The entire region is dotted with rolling hills, lakes and rivers that provide hours of recreation and exploration. Area residents enjoy the beauty of all four seasons, with temperatures ranging from the average daily high of 23 degrees Fahrenheit in January and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in July.

For those who prefer indoor pursuits, the arts are alive and well in the Tri-State Region. Lawrence County and its neighboring communities boast a wide array of cultural venues including a restored historic theatre, a performing arts center, are galleries and several museums.

The cost of living in the area is lower than in many other parts of the county, with housing and utility costs below the national average. Available properties include fine homes and estates, new construction sites, recreational property, commercial property and farmland. Outstanding primary and secondary schools, six universities, three regional airports and four nationally recognized heath care facilities further enhance the quality of life in the community.
